I love Mai, but Wakaba is a much more compelling skater. Why doesn't the PCS reflect that?

Usually I agree, The judges have never been generous with Wakaba,
And she should be scoring higher, Specifically here she looked kinda winded half way through
so I'll give them a pass

Alysa might take the lead solely based on the strength of her triple jumps, she doesn't need a ridiculously massive score to move ahead.

Very nice from Alysa. Quite speedy, and it fits the music. Jump landings were wobbly.

The triple Lutz - Euler - triple Flip combination is just stunning! I remember Alexander Johnson landing that combo. Alysa's music and joy makes me excited but the 3A mistake will be costly.

Other than the 3A, that was fantastic - Well done, Alysa! She's such a reliable skater. I never hold my breath when she skates. I love this piece of music, and she interprets it well. Her dress is lovely too.

Alysa is a fierce competitor. She never seem to let early mistakes affect anything else. Reminds me of young Mao Asada.

Whoever is doing Alisa's packaging is killing it. She looks almost unrecognizable from even this summer. The speed, attention to the music are leaps ahead of what I would have expected as well. She's a joy to watch, even if the 3 axel wasn't her friend tonight.
