In the rules they're worth a good deal of points. Practically those points are most awarded depending on a skater's status (politicking). If the skater is an anointed one they get the points, if they're not they don't get the points. So, none of them have an advantage in working hard for nib.

Definitely, you are compared with Stephane, it's tough! Shoma's presence on the ice was not overtaken by Stephane, it was amazing! Their sync was really superb! The finish is out of this world. Last night, I watched the video again and againThat performance is a jewel, isn't it?! I remember several of Shoma's comments -- he said he really, really didn't want to fall during their skate. He talked about how Stephane is so good at everything he does! Someone joked and said they are so in sync with each other that maybe they ought to think about skating pairs together!

A step sequence level is determined on a number of listed elements and features, such as one-footed skating, mohawks, choctaws, brackets, twizzles, turns in both directions, etc. Typically, the tech panel will look for those elements, and if you don't do them for long enough or they're not fully executed you can lose a level. It's similar to a spin with a certain number of features earns you more levels. I would be myself quite unable to pick the errors. An excellent skater deep in interpretation is prone to a little hop here or there and then comes the Level 3 (unless TP don't see it or choose not to see it), because missing one step makes that the required number of different difficult steps is not reached.
