You can repeat 2 triples or 1 triple and 1 quad. But I believe you can repeat double jumps as many times as you want.
One can repeat as many doubles as one want (including 2A) but each only once, one of which at least in a combo (and a repeated combo doesn't count).
This layout is OK : 3Lz+2T, 3F+2T, 3T+2Lo+2Lo, 3Lz, 3F, 3Lo, 2A (3Lz, 3F, 2T, 2Lo are repeated each once) but if in the third combo you replace a 2Lo by a 2T it won't be counted because it's the third 2T in the program.

That's it.
The fact that the fed made a mess (involving Anna) has nothing to do with Anna.
Nice of aleona to do that. They've been friends for years and it looks like all these girls will have each other's backs.

What's this about a mess that the federation made? Oh you mean that Sofia Samo should have finished 3rd and Petro 4th and Anna 5th? Agreed. But people forget that Anna racks up subtle points with her very difficult programs with very difficult transitions and the utmost of artistry musicality and interpretation. That's how she won worlds last March without landing a quad. Alona understands this and scoring points is more than just the obvious.

It was sweet to see Aliona defending Anna/criticizing the journalist who asked her the question, but it was also not at all surprising given that Anna is part of her "gang." ;)

It's great that Aliona added subtitles to her video -- I wonder if she did them herself or if someone helped her with them..?
I think that will help her get more views, at least from her non-Russian fans (like me!). 👍
I actually think her previous Q&A video was really interesting, but perhaps fewer people watched it because they couldn't understand what she was saying.

About Aliona's jump layouts -- it's definitely fun to think about, but realistically it's probably going to take Aliona a long time to recover even her normal triple jumps. I would say that her jumps finally started to look like 2019-20 jumps in terms of the height/power at IdF, about 8 months after she moved back to Team Tut. Hopefully she can get them back sooner than that, because (as you've discussed) there *might* be a tiny chance that she'll be needed as a sub at Worlds due to injury/illness.

Prior to her injury, I did wonder if it might be useful for her to train the 4S on a harness, not with any real plans of adding it to a program, but so she could get used to rotating faster. Because I feel like her 3A has enough height, but her rotating position is not as tight as we saw in the 2019-20; it looks kind of wild. If she can improve her rotational speed, I think the 3A would be easier. Also, I think it might help her mentally -- if you're working on a quad, then maybe a mere triple axel doesn't seem so scary...? ;)
And if the 4S practice goes unexpectedly well and she can actually land it without a harness, well, then even better!!

I love how Aliona speaks her mind with moderation, like in supporting Dasha.
She stand on her friend's corner but without throwing wild accusation.

Of course, that's my girls! ;)

I don't know who did the subtitles (I doubt it was her) but hopefully this trend will continue! :thank:

Then don't expect Anya Sasha or KV to give their world spots away unless it will go to one of their teammates meaning AK. I want aleona to recover but what incentive will she have to get back on the ice let's say in January if there isn't an outside chance she could go to worlds? Otherwise she should just shut it down until the training camp in June or July whenever that is.
with the 1st alternate being outside of TT I don't expect places to be left as a form of courtesy but only as a necessity.
Maybe ET could negotiate something with the fed, but I don't expect her to push the matter if it's not her idea.
Looks like an enviroment where every little favour should be repaid tenfolded

Probably so.

Hoping aliona's injury heals completely but I am worried because fingers are involved.

New vlog. With subtitles:

I've just watched it and really appreciated the subtitles even if Alexei Fedorov saved us for the previous videos.
I would add to your comments, that I love her holiday looks and this should become a new standard instead of the ugly things we see everywhere!
I'm so happy too that she feels well in her family. I had a bit of a pang when she told she hadn't decorated a New Year tree (Russian Christmas in on January 6th and not everybody celebrate) since many years. Of course her family must decorate it during Russian Nationals... She doesn't tell us if her brother was easy to convince to let her do it alone this year.
It just occurred to me I have maybe just guessed why her mother "threatened" to shave us her when Alyona went back home with purple hair! Maybe she argued that her father had this habit of dyeing his beard for New Year, and her mother answered yes but he shaves his beard to go back to work, shall I shave your hair?
I guess her mother adapted since.

Thank you @rollerblade for your correction!

New video with Aliona -- I guess it's some kind of quiz show hosted by two brothers...?

With the auto-translated captions I got a general idea of what they were talking about -- it seems that Aliona likes math and biology!

Maybe someone can translate what she said at the end for us...? (@Alex Fedorov ?) They asked her something about school and about whether she'd like to try being an actress...

reconneting to a previous video, seeing how she mistreated the decorations I'm now convinced that she can easily produce a 2 days cleaning drama while cooking.
Never underestimate Aliona

From 20:20:
Melnikova: Aren't you studying anywhere now?

Alena: I'm in my first year at the institute.

Melnikova: What institute?

Alena: Athletic ...

Melnikova: Wow! With that kind of intelligence?

Alena: Well, I have it there ... I decided that in the coming years I would be skating, and in order to skate calmly, it is better not to study seriously.

(I will skip a little further, there Melnikova talks about her ice skating experience, and asks Alena how she can withstand such loads)

Alena: It seems to me that acting in films is no less difficult. There you still need to learn so much text, something else ... There you have to memorize whole volumes of text.

Melnikova: This is just easy for me, but doing some triple jumps was not easy.

Brother 1: Alena, Dasha tried to become a skater for a short time. Would you like to try becoming an actress?

Alena: Oh, at some point ... I often have a desire to finish one of my hobbies and find a new one. In 4 years I will try to enter the medical faculty of the university. Or at least the preparatory department. To study and become a doctor. And they say to me: "Well, what kind of doctor you are, it is better to become an actress, go to the theater institute." And until the moment I entered [the sports institute], everyone considered it his duty to send me [to the theater]. I had no thoughts of immediately acting in films without special education.

Brother 1: Who is your favorite actor? Actress and actor? From the Russians.

Alena: Yes, I usually don't watch Russian films ... Dasha, I know, because I watched the series "Daddy's Daughters". I saw her and immediately “Ah-ah! I know her".

On this, in fact, the conversation ended.
As for automatic translation. It works correctly in cases where Russian subtitles are made with high quality. In this video, alas, the quality of the Russian text is not the highest.
