Before we get into the last two groups, let's not talk about Olympic selection until AFTER everyone has skated, because then I can quietly exit the thread and everyone else can argue without me knowing

There will apparently be a lot of music at the gala, and that makes sense to me because the gala usually draws a local audience. My read from those around me is that the people here specifically for the skating do not care for the excessive music. What I really want to hear is the sound of the blades- I remember my first in person completion when I could really hear that, and it was magical.

OMG Greta—the feed from Canada Nationals last night, in an empty arena/no spectators, the sound of Sadovsky’s blades was, indescribable. It added so much to the experience!

And hey, Ichat if you are here, the North American Tesoro is going to the Olympics!
