Nice skate for Diana & Gleb. That opening combo lift is still my favorite part of the program

That was very flat. Did nothing for me, but I like some of those lifts

I find my attention focused on her ankles, which never bend—quite unusual (one might say, incorrect) in dance

exactly - it would different if they were in a country with a weak field but they are getting majorly rewarded for skating that isn't great and they look very junior and get rewarded when no one else would.

I'm looking forward to next season when they won't have their RD or this FD anymore. Neither is terrible but neither does anything much for me either.

Now worries, the interesting (?) contributions from fellow GS folk (the heroism of watching skating simultaneously and - wait for it - in different time zones, leading to voluntary sleep deprivation; bathroom breaks; what to snack on; complaints about foreigners who dare not to pronounce names correctly in the native language of the skaters and blablabla) is still to be enyoyed in every forum on a loop. That will never be criticised even if it loses the novelty after three events -or at least one season.

Sorry @flanker, you're not one of them, but I've been waiting for the right opportunity to say that.

I agree - I don't dislike this program but I don't find myself being very drawn in. It's fine.

The comparison in maturity between R/A and the previous team cannot be overstated. I'll be real--I want to see grown people dance. That felt like an entire performance and not just elements to music in the background.
