Unpopular opinion:

The GOE on some of those elements was way overscored. I know it's Yuzu, but there was some sketchy stuff in there apart from the pop.

Beautiful skating by Hanyu but what a grave error. Even the 3A was off.

You could see at the start that he wasn’t confident in that salchow.

Darn that damn 4S, such a curse! Only a 1S on the opening jump.... Also was difficult for him to find a center on that flying camel. But everything else was absolutely fantastic and stirring. Wonderful footwork and spins that are clear Lvl 4s to me. Wonderful 3A and 4T+3T to come back. The door is now open to Shoma and Yuma to step through. We'll just have to see how they and Chen fare...
