Agreed. That said, it's hard for me not to think of Julianne Seguin right now, and hope that Ashley is very careful about not returning to competition too soon. The possible consequences of rushing recovery are too horrible. It can happen to anyone. Pairs isn’t “safe” to begin with. Nor is skating.
I'm pretty sure that @lariko was saying that b/c Ashley has a history of head injuries and it's definitely not safe to continue and some cannot because of multiple head injuries. It can happen to anyone. Pairs isn’t “safe” to begin with. Nor is skating.
Honestly they mercifully showed little of it.I can't rewind the stream, but i think she was more psychologically in shock than physically injured, during the multiple mistakes she already made before that last fall.
They forgot about Tai & Randy…. just lost in translation, I think!It’s not 79 years. It’s 1979.
Yes, I meant that Cain/Leduc had their accident in Zagreb in 2018, vs Liu/O'Shea in Warsaw last year. No pair has had two accidents like this in one season.Liu/O'Shea had accident in Warsaw though
How can anyone just forget the best pairs skaters ever? They forgot about Tai & Randy…. just lost in translation, I think!
LOL it's more like 43 Years! It’s not 79 years!!! That would make me 92!!
I think he looks like Michael Marinaro some time.Trennt Michaud looks so much like Jonathan Groff with his longer hair

The Japanese team was behind them in the FS, I believe the SP just saved them enough to go into the lead.Well, they should have had it regardless given the performance by the Japanese team… but we have this really, really exemplary judging in this event.
Honestly they mercifully showed little of it.
For better (or worse?), i think it was not a major physical injury, but psychological thing. Not from what I saw
All the classic signs of a concussion, not that I am an MD. And thank God they took the camera off of her.
Tai looks awfully good for 95.LOL it's more like 42 Years!
Given how poor their free was, they shouldn’t have been second in the freeThe Japanese team was behind them in the FS, I believe the SP just saved them enough to go into the lead.
