What's going to happen with maya?
Well she bomed at the cup- injury or just bad day in the office? That's a vague comment... what do you mean?

Khromykh had a bad season overall. Her stability is poor compared to the rest of the field and she doesn't have anything to offer that others don't do better. Neither she puts it all together well. I don't understand the interest in her as an athlete.
It's just weird that people call Trusova unstable, when she lands by far more of her jumping passes, while supporting Khromykh to no end. I think I can only remember her landing all her jumps once or so.I think that's a little harsh, she did beat Shcherbakova at the Budapest Trophy after a super gutsy move of going for a second quad toe (& succeeding) after falling on her first and she place second and third at her GPs with pretty good performances.
BTW in her TV appearance this morning Anya said she continues to skate.

I'm afraid it is although this very time I would be glad if the wishful thinking turned right. In reality I think Anya so far follows what she likes. Like writers who were not allowed to be published were still writing.Hmm, is it wishful thinking that the ISU has perhaps already made a decision regarding the current ban being rescinded since Shcherbakova said less than a week ago it would impact her decision?
It seems to me that when Trusova was called unstable, they meant unstable compared to Valieva, Shcherbakova and Tuktamysheva. In other words, she was compared to skaters who had a real chance of participating in the Olympics. Maya had no such chance. It's just weird that people call Trusova unstable, when she lands by far more of her jumping passes, while supporting Khromykh to no end. i've never seen that opinion on hereIt's just weird that people call Trusova unstable, when she lands by far more of her jumping passes, while supporting Khromykh to no end. I think I can only remember her landing all her jumps once or so.

I'd like to think so too, but I don't see any developments during that time that could change the decision to ban. Maybe the federation came up with something, but I doubt it. But who knows - after all, Anna had already been "left in juniors", "removed from the Russian Championship", "not allowed to the Olympics". It would be nice if the same thing happened with the ban on international competitions.Hmm, is it wishful thinking that the ISU has perhaps already made a decision regarding the current ban being rescinded since Shcherbakova said less than a week ago it would impact her decision?
Guess her days in eteris camp are counted.she was given quite a few opportunities now. She must seem a constant disappointment in eteris eyes and they need every place for the many new talents.Khromykh had a bad season overall. I would not give up Maiia just yet. Some people are just late bloomers. I still have a good feeling about her long term.Guess her days in eteris camp are counted.she was given quite a few opportunities now. I don’t see why. It’s going to be a quiet season if there are no international competitionsGuess her days in eteris camp are counted.she was given quite a few opportunities now. She must seem a constant disappointment in eteris eyes and they need every place for the many new talents.
Eh, defeated is a strong word. I mean, ever since juniors she was forgiven the endless falls, but it accumulates with every competition she goes to and falls. And it’s not like she has any outstanding beauty of skating. She is always awkward on ice. Her music selection leaves a big room for improvement too. Her personality is not particularly inspiring, she always looks sort of martyred and vaguely unhappy."Bad season of Maiia..."
Well I wonder where do people go for such claims... Internationally she had only one competition that would not provide her a medal at the last "worlds". Her "bad" in Russia is still one of the best internationally and at her international appearances she was only defeated by other Russians.
She is not stable, but even the best of nonrussian skaters are not. Maiia defeated Loena Hendrickx twice, she defeated Mariah Bell, Mai Mihara, Kim Ye-lim, Lindsay Thorngren and others, about whom the same people would surely not say they had a "bad season". Again, it amazes me how people can have so very different standards based on their prefecences.
