2022 Junior World Championships: Women's Free Skate

Well, that’s weird that she skated to Akatyeva’s music and tried the quad. Would have been nice if she’d landed it.

Maybe mine is an unpopular opinion, but I don't agree that athletes that already had the chance to participate in a major ISU competition (Worlds, 4CC or Euros, not senior nationals) are allowed to compete again with the juniors. Once a senior you are a senior, don't stay there in the middle to use your advantage competing against real juniors!

I don’t think that’s an unpopular opinion. I feel the same way.

As long as there is a junior division in Eu and 4CC, I would be all for it. It really would prevent some feds from the attitude, ‘Figure Skating? Oh, sure, we have this one guy/gal, they always go!’
I agree . Linnea has not competed at juniors and without corona she would not even had the TES. Here is the list of the girls who would have been eligble to be here, and the first three; Iida, Olivia, Janna have better technical content:

Well, Olivia has competed at both, she is 15, Janna is 15 (born in February, checked corrected) and Iida is 14 (just turned a few days ago also corrected her age). The others are 13-16 . I hope you now understand my opinion about Finland's federation's rules.

There were some URs there but the technical panel was quite lenient with Clare so Kimmy might do ok. She really did improve her jump rotation since the JGP.
