So glad Shoma had some relaxing time with friends in Champery. He can afford to gain a little. He was looking very trim at the OG and WC.

Speaking of GPs if Shoma doesn't do IdF and NHK I will be shocked. Home GP and and a chance to get revenge at IdF/it's close to Switzerland? Plus they're not back-to-back or right before the Final? And he gets first dibs? Literally perfect for him.

I agree. Last night I pulled out all the info from my cancelled IdF 2019 trip to see where I had planned to stay, what airlines, etc. Definitely would be the most convenient for Team Shompery (Deniss and Stepen included), and hopefully no jet lag involved. I'm still going to keep praying for North America though!

Would be nice for a NA appearance. I thought I read that either Cup of China or Russia may be moved to Estonia. That would be another option for those training in Europe. Estonia certainly deserves a GP so we'll see. 3 hours drive to Grenoble vs flight to Talinin. Hmmmm....

Amazing photos! I love how it shows a rare beautiful smile from Shoma in Oboe, he's usually so serious in the program, but the clean performance at Worlds loosen him up especially in the step sequence.

I'm still in the mood of throwback, and our fellow Shoma fan @Vilya has made this amazing compilation of Shoma and Stephane moments from the last two seasons! They have come so far.
