2nd sport category in girls is currently going
Notable skaters : Maria Shamshad 5th after the short, Alisa Zaikina 3rd after the short, Marina Sarycheva 2nd after the short and Sofia Sarnovskaya 1st after the short

so any news on who got chosen from moscow applicants for Panin memorial, the list has been removed from the upcoming events in sportvokrug, its still there if you have the link but its no longer listed as an upcoming event, so im assuming they have chosen.

The men is quite easy out of 7 one doesn't get a spot and pairs and senior dance are easy as there isn't 6 applicants in any of them. Junior dance, boys, girls and senior women have a lot of applicants tho.

SPB fed said the full entry lists will be published "on the eve of the event" , which should be tomorrow evening.
I think ultimately the Moscow fed ( and the other local feds) choose which skaters they send.

I am having trouble opening the SPB fed homepage since the beginning of the weekend. Sometimes it opens, but most of the time the connection just times out. Not sure if it's an issue on my side or with the homepage itself. Anyway, the competition is also announced on the fsrussia.ru homepage, so I will add these links as well in case anyone else also experiences problems with the SPB page.

Btw I just looked at the applications once more and what was going on with team tuts junior girls applications they applied 3 girls not eligible for juniors 2 born late 2010 and one 1 in 2011?

Also only 5 senior women?

Senior Women's Short at Panin Memorial will be on the 6th (starting at 15:15 (Moscow time?)) and the Free will take place on the 8th of October (starting at 9:30).

Also keep in mind that at Panin Memorial, in Juniors only top 24 skaters/couples will advance to the free skate, in Seniors only top 18 skaters/couples will advance to the free skate.

If anyone wants to watch something before Panin memorial starts, the girls 1st sport category is starting at 11:50 and ends 13:15, 45 minutes before Pain memorial starts.
There are some known names there like Valeria Lukashova, Elena Kosteleva, Alena Zhilina, Polina Shesheleva and Alina Kalugina
