Description of event:

The Moscow Sports Cup will be attended by teams of 20 figure skating schools, including pupils of the best sports institutions in Russia: The Crystal school of Eteri Tutberidze, the Yantar Sports School, the Angels Plushenko Figure Skating Academy and the CSKA school. In addition, representatives of 80 commercial organizations involved in the development of figure skating in our country will compete for the title of the best young team. The competitions will be held among the teams of the I and II youth category, as well as the I and II sports category in men's and women's free skating.

The Cup is divided into two subgroups, one of which will be attended by public schools and departments of the Figure Skating Academy, as well as schools of CSKA, AFC "Angels Plushenko", IC "Army of Figure Skating" and SHFC Alexander Volkov, while the second – commercial organizations.

The tournament will consist of seven stages and a superfinal, which will be held on June 1, 2023 at the Megasport Sports Palace. Five winners of the stages and two teams with the highest score according to the results of the free program from the first subgroup and four teams with the highest score from the second will get to the final.

According to the results of the final, the Cup organizers plan to create the first children's figure skating team of the city of Moscow with the prospect of preparing for the Olympic Games in 2030.

In addition, the audience of each round is waiting for demonstration performances of famous graduates of participating schools. The performance of famous athletes will be announced later.

The Cup is organized by the Department of Sports of the city of Moscow.

quite interesting that they left out the 3rd youth and the 3rd sport category out of this "Youth team Figure Skating tournament" I wonder why?
I get that the 3rd youth skater might be little too young but I wonder why the 3rd sport category got omitted.

I guess Pohilyuk comes with the 1st sport category students and for Artem Fedotov. Most likely Polina and maybe Punin (Punin is the the jump specialist in the kids group where Polina coaches as well tho she normally tho takes their students to competition) for Marina, Polina and Kirill.
