Lindsay is looking more self-assured than last year. I want her to own her skating more and look less terrified. She sometimes hits beautiful positions that she should highlight more. I hope this performance will give her confidence for the free.

Yes! Thorngren went clean. I really like her final spin right on the heavy part of the music. Great job. I hope she brings it in the free skate.

Skated well but the choice of music was rough. I really like her but I kept getting distracted because the music didn't fit the skater.

Good for Lindsay, going clean at last! I do think it will do her PCS no favors skating after Amber, but she should definitely be in the mix after that program.

That was a solid skate by Lindsay, but I don't think that this program works for her. She lacks the presence and performance qualities needed for such a piece of music. I just don't feel anything when she skates, even though I can certainly appreciate her good qualities (e.g., spins). It feels like she's just doing what she has been told to do, rather than moving organically.
