2023 Four Continents Pairs Free Skate

In pairs, leveled elements matter a lot. L/E got a bunch of level 1 and 2 on elements. This is why their TES was lower. It's not a conspiracy, it's math. If they had gotten higher levels, they would have been ahead even with their deservedly lower PCS .
they got lower levels on spin and ds... much less costly than jumping doubles... this is math.

Jesus H Christ, y'all need to get a grip with the wuzrobbed.

If USFSA is going to flex whatever imaginary influence you think they may have, it will certainly not be wasted to alter the 5-7 pairs standings at a weak-ass 4CC in an off-Olympic year.

Already feeling sorry for Deanna and Max. Cause it is looking like no matter how they skate they will end up 3rd behind Chan/Howe even if the later have multiple errors (like they did in the short).

Poor Kelly Ann and Loucas - they get left behind because of home cooking. No way should P/F have scored that high.
Apparently botching all your jump elements doesn't matter anymore! I'm way too annoyed about this. Watching skating is supposed to be fun...

It’s not conspiracy theorizing to disagree with the way these three teams were marked.
I think they has some stingy GOE’s and they had more difficult technical content/and or better execution on the jumps and the throws.
I felt that they were also under marked in the short.

Can't believe the announcer just called Ryuichi "Ryoko" 🤦‍♀️ Ryoko's a female Japanese name...

Just wonder how many of those defending the home cooking will feel if it were to happen at worlds in Canada, with the CAN skaters getting higher scores even with big errors.

No, it isn't. The base value of those elements is often higher than jumps because SBS jumps in pairs ( with a few exceptions) are low BV. Losing levels and getting negative GOE on lifts and pairs elements matters more than landing messy ( negative GOE) jumps. It's all clear on the protocols.
