I was going to ask if he uses something like it to makes falls feel softer. But there really is some kind of bandit on his thigh, that just does not look natural.

Well Edward is done! Again another case of Skate Canada not sending our skaters out to get competition ready. Just send them to the big events and hope for the best. Not fair to these young skaters.

I love his top. That being said, if one needs to wear pads during a competition, proportions would look better if padding was sewn into the costume and the shirt was looser for a more balanced look. (Just the costume designer in me.)

Loved his skating qualities.

Nope... Édouard perhaps... but not even.... and his middle name is Nicholas... again not the French spelling... If i am not mistaken, his surname would be of Romanian origin. There is a large Romanian community in Montreal, most of them speak French.

quality is recognizable... even when the judges are shy to reward newbies...
i can see glimpse of Jo Phan in his skating skills.. this is why I like Edward... and why I adored Jo so much.... the way they skate...
