Ami, she looked tense and tentative on the 3A, but amazing recovery after that!!
I'm glad she managed to keep her smile throughout the program after the fall.

Oi when I consider the US Jr Women's champ will come in 15th here. Two slots for next year. Blood flood I fear.

It’s really not a fair comparison though. She wouldn’t be the US Jr Women’s champ if she had skated the way she skated here.

Omg. Other than the unnecessary fluke fall at the end, that was a beautiful skate. I think that’s the best she skated that program. The solo lutz was beautiful as was the choreo sequence.

What a shame about the random fall - She was doing so well! She has really solid jumps and is a well-rounded skater. She does need to perform more with her face, but she does so reasonably well with her body.

I was NOT expecting that sudden wipeout! Don’t be too upset, though, it’s more embarrassing than costly at this point. Better to fall between elements than on one!

Jia was a little off at the beginning with the jumps but I'm glad she was able to pull it through. Silly fall but it didn't matter to me. Beautiful
