I think the judges got Titova's technical score right. I thought they were hard on her but not at all. They gave her second highest for components with Zhilina highest which dispels. Correct for Zhilina, not Titova.
They let her get away with the slight underrotations on the opening 3A+2A.
Most judges gave her -3 and -2 for her 4S+3T. This was correct
Her 3A got 0 and -1
I can go through the rest but you get the point.

WTF?!
I feel like the judges are playing some demented mind games with Sofia T. Rip her TES to shreds - which she does not deserve, but give her stupid high PCS so that fans - who are well known for losing their minds over such things - will indeed lose their minds over it. She gets screwed over twice - her jumps aren't good enough according to them and her PCS are unfair and undeserved to the rest of the fans.
Fortunately, Sofia T is tough. Unfortunately, I am not and it's driving me nuts trying to figure out just what the Fed's endgame is. What could she have possibly done to make them this angry? She's a kid!
Titova's PCS have been consistently high even before Plushenko complained about her scores.
In the Russian Nationals Titova and Zhilina went 2nd and 3rd in PCS even though their programs have faults over skaters who went clean. The only one who beat them was Gorbacheva who skated clean on both segments and won.

So what the Hell are they trying to do? It makes no sense...
Call me paranoid, but it's almost like they're saying "Look at your PCS, imagine what you could get with TES if you had a proper coach."
Almost makes me wish they'd just declare Plushy a non-person and rip the bandaid off. They're the Russian Figure Skating Fed, I'm sure they can find some reason to ban him from the sport for the rest of his life. Just accuse him of something heinous and get it over with.
Or take a poll, I'm sure "Would you support getting Plushenko out of the sport" would get a resounding 99% yes vote.
This, together with RusNats, is the closest thing to a 'proper' Worlds for me I don't think there's an agenda to punish his skaters. Most of Titova's jumps weren't fully rotated like in the Russian Nationals. It wasn't until I looked at her performance a second time that I really noticed it.
Zhilina's PCS at least makes some sense because she is a strong skater, has an easy power, but of course not very musical. IMO she has far superior skating skills, superior jump technique than Shimada, but Shimada gets more for PCS.

She has not made one excuse all season. No hinting at injury or stress, she hasn't pulled out of any events.
Now she's putting it all on the line with this 3A. It would be so much easier to play safe and hope Akatieva stumbles (which she does more often than not)
I think it's the right time to do it and should be able to medal if she does fall because the 4T is so stable now.
I thought she should play safe at Russian Nationals but the 4T is strong enough to make up for a fall. This wasn't clear back in December. Plus she's going to need the 3A next season so got to land it at some point.

They called Titova's URs who have been a problem for her even in the past.
Plushenko's complained during the Russian Nationals because he wanted his skaters to win despite glaring faults in their programs just for the mere fact that his skaters jump quads. His rants are posted all over here. That is the gist of his complains, His skaters jumped quads so they deserve to win without considering that Gorbacheva did not only jumped a quad, she skated lights out both segments that his skaters wasn't able to do.
It is not hard to read between the lines. Plushenko is not complaining about fair scoring, he is complaining because he is not getting the preferential treatment just because his skaters jumped quad.
But he doesn't seem to understand that his skaters are already getting the preferential PCS score treatment despite not skating clean. They just need to skate clean. Zhilina just proved that.
Do I think the Rusfed is hella annoyed by him? Definitely.
Do I think they are deliberately sabotaging him? Hell no.
