Her timing was sadly so off, she was a junior at a time where funding was tiny and came from a big family who weren't that well off. Sadly she didn't have much of a chance to stay in Moscow back then. I do wonder how it would have turned out with her staying and going against Zhenya.

For sure Medvedeva would have had a strong opponent because Serafima was backloading as much, was almost as consistent and most important, had the same coach. She maybe wouldn't have dominated so much.

No, surprisingly enough, she goes below Mura. Still, everything is very tight and I'm expecting a lot of movement in the Free, depending on how slippery the ice is tomorrow.

Maybe Mura making an Axel mistake in the Short means she finally won't make one in the Free? And maybe Akatieva pulls off another upset like at RusNats? Or Adeliia actually (finally) wins her first title?

For sure, and maybe for years to come. Certainly has the highest ceiling when clean. Kamila will always be better for components.

After the rather tense performances before Sofia was quite refreshing.

It's strangely similar to juniors. The top dogs want too much, the second-tiers deliver cleanly.
