Maybe it's a bit far-fetched, but Maddie seems to have a similar season as e.g. Deniss. Coming from a year where the competitions nearly almost worked and now the programs don't fully behave.

Mmmm. Not sure if I would take the chance of maybe annoying the judges by hissing at them if I was in her position.

But, it would certainly be an accurate interpretation.

They may look beautiful and elegant, but swans are vicious!
