Oh yes, I know! I used to cut them out. I still have many in a old photo album.... You know the old kind with sticky pages? lol They would list the standings with the factored placements score. Gosh, showing our age!

Also old here. I can remember the days when "card girls" would walk out on the ice and pull cards out of boxes slung around their necks to display each judge's marks (and the times when one would get her cards reversed and hold up 4.5 instead of 5.4, or whatever). Also cut out the results lists from the newspapers. Clippings have probably crumbled to dust by now.

I have to ask if that is a typo for Ms Walden, or a criticism? Why I wouldn't allow my husband to suggest any of our kids have Brian or Louise as one of their names. Far too easy to type Brain and Lousie/Louse by mistake!

Belinda Noonan. She knows her stuff but can be annoying... I have been watching on French CBC... Alain Goldberg can be biased/annoying too.. .but he is less monotonous.

It was a typo.

Although I didn't like Lousie when she first started, I started to REALLY like her when she got more experienced and comfortable in the commentary booth.

That IS exciting news! I really like Mark and his commentary, and I've heard such great things about Belinda. Not sure if I've actually heard her commentary or not. Plus it will be nice for Mark not to have to do it all solo. That's a tall order for anyone!

Better if Mark WAS doing it alone. He does a good job, whereas Noonan talks non-stop during the programmes. When I tuned it first thing this morning my heart sank. Her nattering prevents me hearing the music properly and I am unable to focus. I had to mute her during 2018 Olys. Fortunately Eurosport had that feature at that time.

OK she may be knowledgeable but really - it's like she's doing 'An Idiot's Guide to Figure Skating Elements', pointing out EVERY. SINGLE. THING!

I therefore subscribed to Eurosport via Discovery Plus, only EUR 4. Imagine my relief when I heard Chris Howarth's voice! OK, Louise Walden is also there but at least she is not talking much and leaving most of it to him. He gets it just right!

Yeah, once I started watching I pretty much thought the same thing. Also Mark wasn't on -- it was just her. I'm hoping that maybe he'll be on instead of her for Dance. I enjoy his commentary and also appreciate his lighter touch.

Woke up this morning find the pairs replay on Peacock (though I woke up overnight to watch the last 2 groups). Hope that keeps up for the rest of the week and I can depend on it. Previously sounded like it wasn't going to be available so a pleasant surprise!

"Hello, am wondering how to watch the 2023 World Figure Skating Championships, Women's Short Program. Was able to watch the Pairs' Short Program live last night, and see that this content is archived for rewatching this morning (thank you!). Was hoping to wake up this morning and watch the women on rewatch, unspoiled. Can't stay up to watch it live!"

The Pairs and Women's SP for me says "replay available for one day". I suspect that will be the same for the other segments.

Since I am not waking up at 6 am (or 4 am) even for Andrew and Jason, I will take advantage while I can.
