Not a bad skate for Maria R she couldn't get a 3lz-3T opting for a 2T instead but this is a very good skate for her

Dashas jumps are so tiny and her axis on them isnt great which making rotating and cleanly landing them really difficult for her She also cant get all her spin levels either to make up for the jumps

Masha went down on the combo again Im used to this but I just cant bear to watch her be so disappointed. Why is Leushin so insistent on backloading her combo

Polina suffered from osteochondrosis from what I remember

Idk where people got that Alina was had Osgood-Schlatter, I never seen a single interview where she mentioned ever being sick.

I think she talked about it in a video she posted on social media or a live.

I found a transcript of "in the loop" podcast that talk about it. As source they posted a Tumblr page (it's in the transcript) that has bits of that video.

Ohhh, Andrei went for a quad Lutz. If he lands it, he will have landed all the quads in competition. How exciting!
I'm not overly worried about the SP. He kept popping the SP jumps all season long, but he usually delivered the FS without major mistakes. Can't wait for tomorrow. One of my favourite skaters performing one of my favourite programs! A promise of new quads! Is there anything better in figure skating?

Diana Milto went for a 4S but it was likely downgraded and a fall On side note her solo triples looking good today and even her combos look to have height on them

I mean she is definitely being scored very generously still but at least today her triples looked actually rotated and had flow coming out of them. Should not be ahead Varvara

Maria landed her 4T again finally

Not a good day for Milana but she fought to jump all her combos in 2nd part. Loved the the 3lo-2T, she flew on that 3lo. Superb biellmann.

Loved her smile through the program.

Wow strong technical performance. The 4lz was big and the two 3lz combos well executed.
The program also wasn't bad, even if a bit empty. Samodurova made Xtina popular among Russian figure skaters

Who is her coach?
Her jumps aren't really good but a bit better than her sister's.

Her coach is Sokolovskaya. They been with her since they were kids.
