Bolded section: I had to laugh. Most classical pieces are long or super long, hence why they are cut for figure skating. Symphony 9 by Dvorak is about 40 mins long.
I am glad to hear Gracie skated to some of that piece again.

I'm glad to read your comments on this moonvine. I wasn't sure whether you would be upset or ???? At first I wondered if it was some kind of scam or something, then realized it was for real. It made me just want to give her a big hug! I will definitely read the book!Every time I think I can't love her more, I discover that I can love her just a little more

She is one of the most beautiful women in the world. (My opinion). She doesn’t have to do any of this. She doesn’t have to talk about her eating disorder. She’s so incredibly honest and real. So “outofshapeworthlessloser” is amazing. That’s almost a universal thing, that most women - actually most people - have felt about themselves. So seeing someone like that has practiced negative self talk, well if it’s not true for her perhaps it isn’t true of us either.

Tell me about it
My dad loves classical music and I tried to use that as a way to convince him to watch skating with me, but he was like "you can't cut down a piece and tell the whole story in like 5 minutes."
He is, however sick of Bolero
But, back to the topic - I'm definitely looking forward to reading Gracie's book.

i am very much looking forward to Gracie's book. based on the title alone, it sounds like she's not holding back and sharing every part of her story- which i think there is much more to than we know. buckle up.
with her being such a mental health advocate, i think her aim with this book is to help others going through similar struggles.

another site thinks she’s going to burn USFS to the ground (figuratively). Apparently in addition to everyone knowing she was abusing laxatives and coming close to suicide (she was officially in treatment for an ED because that was more “palatable”), she was also sexually assaulted. Pretty sure it wasn’t JC because he was a coach on her Road 2 Gold camps and she posted something when the accusations were first made. If a Fed is more worried about medals than about their athletes abusing laxatives to drop weight, there’s an issue.

It may not be as explosive as predicted - publishers' blurbs cannot be trusted, I have a book that makes great fun of them - but even so, I think and hope it will sell really well for her.

I pray you are correct, but it says she was told to not talk about her suicidal ideations because an ED was more palatable, and that she was sexually assaulted. Along with all the things I already know because I'm pretty sure if she's recorded something and it is on the Internet I have listened to it. The things I know are bad enough.

There is a free 3 month trial of Audible for Prime members. I got it and ordered Nathan's book because I wanted to listen to something right now, but will probably pre order Gracie's book before the 3 month trial ends.
I just hope that whoever assaulted her was a one off and that we don't have a Larry Nassar situation on our hands.
