I like Étienne... nice jumps, the ones he did well of course. Very nice presence on the ice. Now that I know he is doing junior pairs, I am looking forward to seeing him this afternoon. With the triples he has already and his stature, I think he could be a good pairs skater

So far, Étienne is the most confident jumper. (Yes I do like jumps) Transitions need some work, but I like that he was trying to match the ending bombast of the music.

I can definitely see eÉtienne in pairs and Julien in dance.

this is a much better outing for Anthony... He did land a few triples here... and didn't pop everything. Now talk about depressive young male skater music.... Anthony, I am sure you are good enough for someone Just wait ! it will happen

What is fun in these smaller events is that you sit right among coaches and athletes.. everyone seems so happy to be here too.

It is a good event. The costumes are all gorgeous. They all have their own style. More at the break...

A bit about each skater from the final group.

Reese: gorgeous 3-3. When she is on, she is so good in the air. Inconsistent though.

Lucille : very light on her skates. Quite promising.

Mély Ann. This is a very special talent. She is a fighter. She has it all. Jumps extension spins and presence.

Fee Ann. She is taller and more powerful. I really liked her skating. Reminded me a bit of how Katelyn used to be taller, jump higher and skate with more power. Good presence.

Aleksa is a very strong overall skater too. Gorgeous costume. I liked her basic skating too.

Rose is definitely the best of this group at this point in time. She is more refined and polished. Nice program and choreography. Gorgeous dress. She has very tight rotation. She seems to be aware of every position she hits as it was hard to find moments that did not look good from here.
