Senior men are up.

I am heartbroken seeing footage from Kelowna today.

I messed up the times, so missed ice dance. I will watch men's free, then the video for Ontario pairs.

It is a lot cooler today. No smoke this morning, but it has rolled in with a vengance now. We are about 50 km from West Kelowna/Kelowna fire. I hadn't even heard of it until today, but it really took off overnight.

My neighbors are due to leave from Kelowna airport a week from tomorrow. At the moment, both road and airport are closed.

I am wondering if @lariko knows uliana is skating this weekend... I mean i shouldn't tage her every time Uliana is skating... but we both waited so long for her to get her release ... and i bet our impatience is nothing compared to the one she felt...

anyways... let's hope she has a good LP because her SP was pretty much the best she had done so far

Wish I could send Canada some of the tropical storm rain forecast to hit California this weekend to help with the wildfires.

my friends' flight got canceled... they are flying from kamloops now.

they returned their rental car... and took pictures... omg.

also other firends posted that ubc kelowna campus was evacuating...

there have been fires all summer but these ones are so much closer to bigger cities and structures...

You know it's a big fire when it jumps the lake. The lake is river-shaped, but still about 1 km across.

"interesting "music cuts.... the big intro theme... then the development section which is not necessarily the most famous part of the piece... then back to the intro theme and the coda...

no iteration at all of the main theme in octaves (don't blame him it's boring ) nor of the beautiful lyrical theme (too bad) didn't use the cadence section either.
