I took three years or Latin and we ended up translating De Bello Gallico... but I don't remember Ricorix. Of course, that was before life really existed (no internet nor cell phones you know).

i made that up following the latin naming of german kings. they usually added the prefix -rix (Vercingeto-rix) to what they thought were their personal names t (which also means we don't actually know their real names, but just what the roman managed to translate, probably getting everything wrong). now that i think of it it looks like an internal joke for those who did classical studies never mind

the -rix btw stands for rex, king in latin (that's why scholars believe that those names are actually titles and romans just misanderstood them.)
