I really really wanted to enjoy that but I just didn't find myself captivated. Can still appreciate it was a strong skate

damn, I love Green/Parsons, but the Taschlers were even better
the quality of the teams here is so high, but the scoring always makes me hate ice dance

L/B also very strong and again even a bit better than T/T

Well these teams have given my brain a lot to chew on so far. I am not sure yet which I like the most and I like them all for different reasons. Today I am glad I am not a judge.

I don't think this is obvious for most people. They would hear nihilistic music simply.

It isn’t just the music though, their expressions and how they perform is a significant part of the program. I wouldn’t describe either as nihilistic… but agree to disagree.

I really enjoyed this from Lopraeva / Brisssaud. For some reason, the emotions in the program really worked for me, and the tech was there as well.

Lopareva & Brissaud showing us how classically beautiful their actual skating can be. They are just lovely skaters and this vehicle is very easy for the judges to reward.

as I watched it I kept thinking "This is classic ice dancing".
