Again based on what did Alisa Polyakova get here, she was only 14th in moscow championships and most of the girls ahead of her are yet to receive one stage? Her next outing she didnt make it out of the short program, there's no logic on how she got the spot vs Liza who was in 3rd or Lukashova who was in 5th. Hell Diana Milto 11th and Kira Monogarova 10th who competed really well in moscow yesterday had better case for a spot here.

Strong opening skate. This junior's stage is extremely stacked.

Why is nobody interested in junior's? Lots of hidden gems and future talent. Some of these girls are 100% going to dominate the international scene in a few years.

I love the juniors. At least in Russia where they are really good.

By the way, I think it wasnt a music problem because I recall she stopped skating and went to her coach while the music was still playing the first time, and then they stopped it a bit after that.

Not an imagine dragons fan to begin with, but this cover was particularly odd. Whats this phenomenon of questionable covers in our sport? Are there permission issues in regards to skating the original, copyrighted music?

They are only less skilled by a small margain.

Well, if we look at the best girls like Bazyluk, then they actually blow almost all the seniors out of the water.

It seems clear now to me though that one of the biggest differences between seniors and juniors is stamina even moreso that pure technique. These girls are dropping strong 3-3s to start but cant keep the momentum up for long and finish with low level spins and StSq.

If we look at the top, juniors are not less skilled at all. Some seniors (not all) have the so called "maturity" and that is what justifies their advantage in PCS. Aside that, top juniors are as much skilled if not more. That's why they win senior nats or at least finish on podium.

It's at the bottom that we see the clear difference. Because in JGPs, everyone is allowed, while in senior GPs there is a selection. Thta's why we see skaters with very weak SS and only double jumps in JGPs while we don't see that in senior GP.
