You get more points for a second-half combination. It's a risky, but potentially rewarding strategy - If you land it, that is.

Oh Rinka! Why did you go for a Loop combo? I was sure she was going for the Flip, but no. Loop combos are troublesome, even when the Loop is the first jump.

Love Rinka's dress and power. Miss on the 3L and thus a missed combo. Too bad after such a nice opening. Rinka seems to be so deep into her knees that she just didn't get the spring she needed to snap the rotations on the jumps.

Watanabe took the risk of making the combo in the 2nd half and it did not pay off, fell on triple rittberger. At least Rinka managed to get herself back quickly after the splat.
