I don't care what some people say, I love this program for her. Especially because of the sentimental background of this music choice

It makes her happy and that makes it easy to love.

Kaori. That axel was ''chef's kiss'' and that whole skate was mesmerising to watch and technically strong. That smile at the end already made my day.

I cannot believe that Kaori has never received +5s from all judges for her 2A She's gotten perfect GOEs, yes, but only because the lowest and highest GOEs are dropped.

LOVE this Baby God Bless You choreo on Kaori. Good job by Buttle and Marie France. So good to see her doing something other than Benoit! Woooowwww! Skating like the World Champion she is. That 2A, thought she was gonna ride the edge all the way to Japan.

Mostly it is intentional. Sometimes it's not, like for Kaiya and Sara-Maude, but then you usually see that the landing on the first jump was at least a bit off if not a fall or a step-out.

I guess I am just more of a coward and would never risk it in a SP.

To be honest, skating is all about the risk. You have to be a bit crazy to compete at this level I couldn't do it, and I wouldn't backload combos either, but if skaters feel up to it?

Well deserved 1st place for Sakamoto after the SP with some margin! Actually I haven't watched ... competitive skating live since ... 4 CCs, I had to miss Worlds sadly, only rewatched some skates after (sadly I was already spoilered about the results too, lol).
