2023-2024 Russian Nationals Jumping Championships

Makar is having a good season overall.

This just makes one think even more that both Makar and Gleb just have serious stamina issues. Maybe also concentration for Gleb.
But the jumps themselves are so there.

I didn't expect Popov to pass, but he did. It was basically the only pairing where clean S and T would got him through.

Mark could beat anyone except for Zhenya and Arseniy (and probably Petya).

Also, Arseniy vs Zhenya, two skaters who have the highest scores so far... A very uneven bracket. By the way, last year Arseniy vs Zhenya was the first round of the bracket.

Yeah I’m not sure how they evened out these bracket but it’s an unfortunate that Zhenya and Arseny meet already.

Because Zhenya was only 6th in the qual. His 3A+3A wasn't very good. He wanted to do the safe 4T as a solo jump and then attempt the 4Lo but it turned into a mess.

I just love that repeat joke TAT and Grishin keep going. They repeated it a couple of times, and it gets a laugh out of me every time.

TAT (about any junior): How old is he, 12 or 13?

Grishin (in exaggerated denial): No, no, he is fooooourteen! (As in, way, way, old!)

I thought Gumennik was going to win it. Didn't expect him to miss out to Kolesnikov. I guess they will give it to Semeneko with GoE like that if he keeps landing.
