The mirror is a nice touch as a prop I don't remember seeing one used. Of course a lot of it is lost on me because I can't understand Russian, so if I'm not enjoying some of them it's because of my ignorance.

Frolova was great. Showed her range as a skater. Who would have thought 12 months ago she would be 3rd best skater in Russia and 4th best in the world. She gets better all the time. Of course there are injuries, suspensions and retirements, but what she produces is sustainable and she is so consistent.

I still have Sinitsyna as the better skater despite Spartakiad results. Anyways with such an empty season her finishing 3rd-4th actually isnt particularly unexpected. Who else if not her?
