2024 World Championships Men's Short Program

I don't think Roman's scores are due to the event, though, but due to the state he and his skates have been in during the season. Also hope he will have a great skate today and that we will see him in the free.
no.. his scores are honest. I was referring to some very dubious high scores that some skaters only got at lower level competitions but would not repeat at ISU championships like Euros or 4CC :) or even at GPs :)

He looked good in practice. He can do it. I was mostly referring that some challengers can boost one's scores versus those who compete in stricter competitions.
I agree. If you'd like I can add a disclaimer:

These charts are not guarantees of future performance and undue reliance should not be placed on them. Such forward-looking stats necessarily involve known and unknown risks and uncertainties, which may cause actual performance and placement results in future periods to differ materially from any projections of future performance or result expressed or implied by such forward-looking charts. They have been drawn to cast each skater in the best light based on known results for the current season. Skaters without current results available or using most recent results may use older results or results clouded by illness or injury that may underestimate those skaters potential finishes.

BTW - I just met with my financial advisor recently.

Yay lets get a whole bunch of us to channel good energy to him for today

no need for disclaimer... unless your financial advisor says so :)

So... I am running on 3 hours of sleep, had an exhausting day, plus am suffering from a bout of rhinitis (think hay fever but not an allergic reaction), but I have to watch the whole men's SP because I have that many skaters to watch even when excluding my lads :dbana: I am going to stay up the night again, I swear FS is going to kill me some day

Perhaps you can sleep in the bat cave between skaters and resurfaces.
I'm sure Junhwan would let you.

crazy again how the judging panels are euro centric ... so the CAN USA JAPAN and or KOREA judges will show up for the LP?

I will showing up late. I need to wake up and eat something. 40 men is crazy with just 24 spots for the LP. It will take a while before we get the first Q. I will show up just before that moment.

It's an enormous group and even I cannot watch them all.

But you will miss Donovan. And there is no guarantee he will make the free :(.
