Jason was just perfection. The choreography is so impressive but none done better than it was done today. Congrats, Jason. You're a dream.

This is why Jason is treasure for US Skating. He is so good in his skating that he can get nearly 100 points without a quad. He just so beautiful to watch. This is what skating is all about. This also takes so much of the pressure off of Ilia and Camden shoulders because Jason is a consistent top 10 skater that can be the base of getting the points we need to keep the 3 spots for the men for next year's home worlds in Boston.

Oh my, Jason Brown! What a skater! What a courageous human being. He went deep and gathered his experience and commitment, and he delivered after a very challenging warm-up. That takes guts, calm, and self-belief, especially after his training mate, Boyang Jin, unexpectedly faltered. Kudos and hugs to Jason Brown. In his excitement, Mark called him Jason Wilson just before the program started. LOL!

My heart goes out to the guys who really have the goods to qualify, but who faltered: Boyang Jin, Adam Hagara, Edward Appleby, and Vlad Litvintsev. (Hugs) to them, and to everyone who are cut from skating the fp. I don't think it's quite fair. If they are going to cut so many guys, then allow them to skate separately at a smaller rink for those who wish to do so, for at least some more incentive and motivation and redemption before leaving Montreal. The sport is so unkind to skaters.

Kudos to everyone who were able to bring their best and for those who salvaged small blips to prevail. Those who benefited and qualified due to failures of some top guys, are very lucky. Not that they aren't deserving. They are deserving, too. The cutoff is horrible and adds to skaters' nerves.

Bowing down to Jason Brown!!! And I'm so over the moon for lovely Roman Sadovsky! I was yelling, blowing kisses to him through the screen, and doing a happy dance! Keep up the fierceness, Roman!
