The guy you hear is probably Alain Goldberg from French CBC. He is super annoying but knows his stuff. He's been doing commentating for as long as I have followed skating.... I learned all jump types thanks to him... But yeah, he is super annoying. At the same time, it is not his fault if the feed is picking up his enthusiasm... For French speakers, yes, the yelling is annoying, but he doesn't sugarcoat so often, I even deliberately choose to watch the French stream because i know that he will call it as it is, plus include some Canadian bias in there

My friends and I have been referring to him as "old yeller" and I now need to look up how to say that in French.

Shaidorov really gives us the "Full Urmanov" in terms of his skating and styling.

I like him well enough, but think I could become a real fan if he got some polish.

Shaidorov isn’t impressive live. He needs to work on his skating skills. He is paying attention to what he’s doing, but he just isn’t a natural performer. I wish the jumps were better. I still like him, though.
