That's a big if. I love Danny as a skater but Ellie is underperforming to put it gently. As are all our female pair skaters at this worlds. It's hard to keep hoping all will be better. I'm keeping my expectations low, that way if they improve I'll be a bit happier,

Frankly, I don't think Danny has time to find another partner; father time is knocking. And Ellie is improving. Her jumps are more solid and their stroking, transitions, spins and especially lifts are really good. Next season will be make or break.

The fall on the throw was scary but that program is pretty damn amazing regardless. The transitions, the way they hit musical highlights, etc. is awesome. Lori did great work there.

I hope they keep it next year so they can truly perform it as I’m sure they can.

Audrey Shin has been doing some pair training with Chris K, Brandon F and Alexa K according to Instagram.. doing well and loving it.. not sure if it is a serious effort ..

And CBC Gem cut out the landing on the throw flip with a Program Has Ended, I guess it was good by the GOE

What an awesome way to start the penultimate group! The pressure is on for everything else. There are things to work on but laying it down at Worlds is huge.

Deanna had a 16 year break from skating where she actually had a real life. Time to recover and heal. Plus she has the mind set of a champion. Quite a difference.
