2024 World Championships Women's Free Skate

Congrats to Kaori on making history! That was a really rough final group, I feel so bad for Young, Haein, and Loena, and send them all of the hugs and love. Congrats to Chaeyeon and Isabeau for delivering! They may not be my favourite skaters, but they were both fantastic tonight and deserved medallists!
So much talent, so much competition. This was not an easy competition to medal at. Lots of pressure for all the ladies. Thank you ladies for gracing our presence.

Many good skates, but a few rough ones too... very disappointing for last two...

Kaori showed what makes her so special. Isabeau delivered her content, but those jumps are just ...not pretty with that rough technique...

Superficial aside: usually the Korean women are known for their pretty dresses... not here. Not up to their standards this year.

Mone makes a huge leap in the standings!! If she'd delivered her sp I think she would have been on the podium. Her
posture and technique... superb.

Congrats to the women who finished on the podium!
A special congrats to Kaori on her "Three-peat" as the World Champion! Nicely done and we deserved!

To anyone who was upset or offended by any post I made about Amber, I apologize, as that was NOT my intention. I think Amber is a very talented skater, I only want to see her succeed, and celebrate her success.

maybe that sounds weird, but it's better than a second silver medal. this season must be forgotten. new programs are needed. there is Misha G. great. next year will be great. (by the way, remember how sad Haein Lee was two years ago when Chaeyeon messed up fs (4CC)? and now you saw Kim's face? lovely, lovely)

The threshold for winning a bronze medal keeps going lower and lower every year.

Isabeau was the surprise with a silver medal.

So happy for C. Kim

The scores for Haein were generous. Korea is lucky to keep their three spots this year.

Sad for Haein, this was an anticlimactic end to a very good event otherwise.

But super happy for three medallists, and really that's a huge achievement to become the first woman to win Worlds three times a row for Kaori. First since Peggy Flemming in the 60s.
