Honestly, La/La deserved to finish one place higher in my book.

So glad they won the FD. Would have been such BS if they didn't.

Hm, I think my overall rankings would be the same... I would just rank Chock/Bates 2nd in both portions of the dance, Italians 1st in RD and Canadians 1st in the free, but i think the end results will be the same as this one...

Chock/Bates were great, but Gilles/Poirier's FD was riveting! The music pulls you in immediately and holds you throughout. I love this program. The other exciting program for me was Fear/Gibson's.

I'm ready for the top 3 teams here to call it quits with all due respect for their talents they have all had numerous chances to medal at the Olympics and failed and i'd like to see these younger teams duke it out and get the shot at the podium. Average age of these teams in 2 years in Milan will be 35 how would we like that in singles.

women were kind of unpredictable this year. we had two major meldowns that messed with our predictions i don't know how i got pairs right, i usually tank in pairs. let's see what kind of chaos men will bring us

This and Lajoie/Lagha is what I will rewatch from this dance competition. And Careira/Ponomarenko.

And on another note entirely, I have to say one of my biggest disappointments from this competition was not getting to see the Germans' FD again. I love that dance. Dance is such a tough field to crack, and inevitably good skaters get left out of the FD.

I was screaming. I hope my neighbors don't call 911.

I'm screaming regularly when alone at home ... but I'm a hot mess mentally and I keep mislaying random objects which is agonising or I'm randomly hurting myself in bizarre ways, and not much is needed for me to feel a lot of pain as my pain threshold is set very low. . At least it's a free-standing home so not a nuisance for my neighbours, lol.

Looking forward to watching Piper and Paul's free dance again... it was the best by far, so happy for them to finish off the competition with such a flourish! Yay for the silver medal too!
