Unfortunately, my Dad was looking things looked up on the computer, so I wasn't able to comment about the skaters so far. But, I'll try to remember what I wanted to coment in this recap.
Ach, I'm stupid! When Alexandra EDWARDS (GBR) was on at the start, I forgot to have a good look at her, and look to see if Samantha EDWARDS (GBR) was in the crowd, to try to work out if they are related.
After finding out that there are two skaters called Jana PŘIBYLOVÁ (JPN), I am starting to wonder if this Natsumi FURUKAWA (JPN) is the one that was competing against a lot of the current Senior skaters from Japan a decade ago in Nationals. But, I still reckon it could be, because this girl looks a lot younger than 28.
Like earlier, Midori Ito was sitting on the ground.
We got our second Cruella de Vil programme of the week from Agnese D'AMORE (GBR). And boys she went the exctra mile. The right hand side of her hair was black, and the left hand side was a greyish-white. And because her hair was done up in a bun, it looked even stranger.
And then there was a costume change, where a white skirt with black spots appeared. And I have no idea where it came out of! It took me totally by surprise!
Chiara PANIGADA (ITA) was skating to the "Imperial March" from "Star Wars". I suppose you could call her the Dark Lady Of The Sith, but that is not fair. She is a goddess!

If Sith women are that sexy, I'm joining up!
I'm not sure if this was supposed to be the case, but Yurika ITO (JPN) looked like a modern-day version of Disney's Snow White, with her blue top and yellow skirt.
Ever since I saw Yurika's name and Midori's name in the entries for last year's event, I have wondered if they are related. Well, when I saw her come out onto the ice, my instant thought was "yes! I can see a likeness". And then when Yurika was getting her scores, Midori was sat beside her (on the sofa, not on the floor!)
Right, that's as much as I can remember.
