Ikura has two of my favourite programs of the season. I love this short program - it's fun yet mature and works so well with her gorgeous posture and lines. She was a little more focused on the jumps today, which is understandable, but I missed her usual level of performance. I have to appreciate the variety in packaging out of Kinoshita Academy, and their work with up-and-coming choreographers like Cathy Reed and Kaitlyn Weaver. I also love the dress so much.

It's on the cusp of WTF, as you say if the skirt wasn't black (or at least had non-black accents) it was definitely yay but

Nay. I like it.

And I like the way that when we are on a long camera shot, the skirt part and Ikura's hair seem to match, and move together.

That's very clever, if you ask me.

I mightn't be a big fan of that version of the song, but on the whole I loved that programme.

Into 2nd, about 5 points behind Mao Shimada.
