2024 JGP Czech Skate Men's SP

Oh lord this is the same level as Harin's FS Voila my soul hurts from having listened to this

Meanwhile... Ichat the otaku still thinks of Toradora! when she sees the name Taiga

Is it bad I always assume that men and women single skaters on juniors from Japan and South Korea will do well usually? They’re so consistent.
They really aren't, especially the boys, but I appreciate your enthusiasm - Ironically enough, Taiga himself was actually proof of the opposite last season, when he had a disaster Short. Definitely redemption for him here ☺️

That's interesting that Ted is telling a story about snakes. You know how I mentioned the Johor Circuit in Malaysia. Well, it's most famous for an incident when a snake was on the track during a 125GP session, and it reared up in front of the bike being ridden by now MotoGP team-owner Lucio Cecchinello. And it was then hit by the bike ridden by now MotoGP team manager Gino Borsoi.

Lesson to snakes - don't mess with Italians!

IIRC the snake was a specimen of a protected species, so there was some kind of reprimand to the motorbikers (a fine or something). It was clearly an accident, though, so I don't remeber how the story ended.

On our skaters: we have consistent and polished skaters (Jia is the forerunner in this category), we have consistent but a bit rough skaters (Harin comes to mind first), and then we have inconsistent but polished skaters (Seojin is the queen of this category). So I wouldn't group all of our skaters and call them consistent and I cannot say every single one is polished, but if you average it then the general image of the South Korean single skater becomes 'pretty consistent and mostly polished'. That image is the one foreign fans who aren't deeply invested in our field have

Edit: I left out our junior men because our size sample is too small to have a clear image (only 5 skaters on the JGP circuit this season and less than 10 as a whole)

That sounds familiar. But, I might be thinking about the time that a lizard wandered onto the track at, was it Shah Alam (MAS) or was it Sentul (INA)?

Ach, I was too young at the time to remember! I just know these stories because of the commentators telling them many times over the years since!

Either way, as you say, it was clearly not intentional.

Or those whose own skaters are so chaotic in both areas that they are easier to impress this way and yes I do mean me?

He's way too young for me to note the trousers.... but they are very very shiny. And I like the shirt.

Uh oh. Is this a resurfacing break? I may not be able to stay awake for the last group.

I'm not quite sure how to define 'TallyT's own' but how can you be chaotic in polish..?
