I put him into fourth, because I wasn't sure if he could handle the pressure, but he did.

Big technical score, PCS will probably be lower than some of the guys coming after him, but that won't matter much if they don't deliver technical brilliance as well.

Well - I've never seen Patrick Blackwell before and I seriously underestimated him. I had not expected such high technical content from someone who has never competed at US nationals at any level.

He was injured last season, but he won the Junior Team Cup this season with a good skate, if not at this level yet.
