Patrick had legendary skating skills and Nathan Chen had more than enough quads to compensate, Kakiuchi Haru, while with the Japanese basics, has neither. And this is juniors, 3As can be worth much more than a quad

Oh I agree with all of that. But what I meant was, sometimes the 3A is a just a unique bugbear and resists all attempts to make it their own.

I so wanted to find a song that finished in 32nd position in the 70's, but there weren't that many entries back then. The most entries that there was in that decade was 20 in 1978.

Yeah of course, but even if he keeps his quad stable without a 3A he is not going to survive the bloodbath of Japanese singles

Yep, kids from a local school were having an outing to the skating. And they were putting on choreographed performances during the intervals.

Ted was saying that they had been rehearsing for two months.

Now we have a seriously hot DJ playing dance music instead! And the grown-ups are partying along!
