Gosh, the judges are picky. Looks like it some minor stuff apart it really came together for Oscar this time. Nicely done. Maybe a little more passion next time?

Oscar has worked hard this year and grown a lot. Spins are a bit slow and the positions are weak but the musicality is still there.

@Ichatdelune - friend, I totally get the sadness about Minkyu, but please wait with me until Saturday is finished. Others here rightfully pointed out the advantage and clearance Minkyu has over 99% of the field when clean, so fingers crossed he can have lights out FS performance. I will cheer for it loudly.

... Thank you Beatrice, you do us all (but especially me) a huge service by being there and gifting skaters your beautiful crowns. Like... my confidence in our top juniors has been shaken since Bangkok, the (irrational, I know) thinking goes that if Jia of all people can falter and not be able to pull herself up when needed, how will the boys with their hidden needles do? Also, as I have repeatedly whined here, I also need Jaekeun to qualify because he deserves it, and that makes things even more complicated. My mental state is that I'm not even sure that Yuseong with her gold will get to go to JGPF, she has to face Wang Yihan with a gold under her belt and Nakai Ami and Takagi Yo with silvers under their belts and she has unraveled before at important stages (last JW was the most sore case...). After starting this season by not wanting to start the season it has been difficult for a Team Korea stan to be sane, so much has happened already and not many of those are bright spots. And it's pre-Olympic season on top of that, with all that it entails... I am just weary and beat already

I second this - I think he has the talent to pull an Adam SHF

Talent, yes, quads, no. Adam SHF has a lot of quads. Even Chen Yudong, who was the original Adam SHF-ascendance model, has (had?) a quad. Add a potential edge call on his lutz and the points are chipped off...

He popped a 3A and had two landings with some negative GOEs in that program. But did a quad and a 3A+3T

So he'll add about 10 points if he goes completely clean with all his layout. This is not giving me hope

Honestly, selecting these shades of blue should do it. It's either really odd or the light in the rink changes them significantly
