the golden suspenders are so...extra...too bad for the trousersHonestly, selecting these shades of blue should do it. It's either really odd or the light in the rink changes them significantly

The music is something else...Aurelian, with a little of more bling also on your trousers you could have had a place on my notepads...but you weren't bold enough
they stared at Aurelian's suspenders for too longWho tripped over the plug today...
It's not me doing any service - It's because of THEIR service, more like hard work abd sacrifices made, I'm inspired to go watch, cheer and decorate their little, talented heads. Team Korea, juniors in particular, embraced those silly crafts so generously I often wonder why an how it happened.... Thank you Beatrice, you do us all (but especially me) a huge service by being there and gifting skaters with your beautiful crowns. Like... my confidence in our top juniors has been shaken since Bangkok, the (irrational, I know) thinking goes that if Jia of all people can falter and not be able to pull herself up when needed, how will the boys with their hidden needles do? Also, as I have repeatedly whined here, I also need Jaekeun to qualify because he deserves it, and that makes things even more complicated. My mental state is that I'm not even sure that Yuseong with her gold will get to go to JGPF, she has to face Wang Yihan with a gold under her belt and Nakai Ami and Takagi Yo with silvers under their belts and she has unraveled before at important stages (last JW was the most sore case...). After starting this season by not wanting to start the season it has been difficult for a Team Korea stan to be sane, so much has happened already and not many of those are bright spots. And it's pre-Olympic season on top of that, with all that it entails... I am just weary and beat already
A kid skating to music Junhwan used and with a nice Ina Bauer too!
Figures, I still remember the days when some called my darling's Ina Bauer a "following Yuzuru" move. Now people think of my darling instead when men do beautiful Ina Bauers, this is how generations change and it feels weird to actually think about itCody Kock did a long, deep and flowing Ina Bauer right in front of the judges that Mark called influenced by Junhwan Cha
he was a roman emperor, the name just means Aurelius descendent, but Aurelius might mean goldenDoesn't Aurelian mean gold? Also isn't he a Roman Emperor?

IIRC Aurum is one way to name gold (hence the periodic table abbreviation being Au), so I think it actually does mean golden?he was a roman emperor, the name just means Aurelius descendent, but Aurelius might mean golden

Our kiddos love your crowns because they are made with love and care and thus shine with the beauty of your thoughts and feelings. As I have repeatedly said, your crowns are as beautiful as our lads and lasses. I don't think anybody will disagree with me on this. And (deep sigh) yes, this is a sport after all and just being beautiful does not get you the medals, delivering does. I will be in anguish over how JGPF qualifications pan out until it is decided, but I can't do anything about it, can I? The only thing I can do is cheer for them and wait, and thus following your wisdom that is what I'll doIt's not me doing any service - It's because of THEIR service, more like hard work abd sacrifices made, I'm inspired to go watch, cheer and decorate their little, talented heads. And...if Poland had THIS abundance of talent, I'd probably care this much too. But I just want to give them grace and support even when they falter. I can only imagine how stressful it can be when you have this level if competitiveness plus getting out to the world to see you and judge you. Jia changed coaches, right? No one is from the steel, even her - I trust she may need some time to adjust maybe, to get comfortable and then she WILL shine again at the brightest. I cross mu fingers for her, Minkyu, Kim twins and everyone else - that's unfortunately how competitions work and there are 3 medals only plus two segments where you usually have little wiggle room. But let's wait until Saturday plus enjoy tomorrow's ladies
Minkyu doesn't have to beat Tamir to get a podium finish, unless you want him to get silver.Talent, yes, quads, no. Adam SHF has a lot of quads. Even Chen Yudong, who was the original Adam SHF-ascendance model, has (had?) a quad. Add a potential edge call on his lutz and the points are chipped off...
So he'll add about 10 points if he goes completely clean with all his layout. This is not giving me hope
