Joy Weinberg and Thierry Ferland (Pairs, Canada) look to have split?

They were reported being on Patinage Quebec's Equipe B here. They are no longer on Equipe B from the list updated August 19 (here)

I realized that they weren't on the list for Quebec sectionals.
Honestly, I didn't believe in this partnership... Thierry needs a stronger partner, with jumps. But it's getting later and later for him. So i am sad.

PS Thierry is not "an identified athlete" anymore at all... which would lead to believe he is retired OR has not actively been searching a partner. The criteria is written in case of split partnership... So it would make me believe that Thierry Ferland is indeed retired as he is nowhere to be found on ANY Patinage Québec lists.

I seen an story on Michelle Deych's Instagram announcing her split with Ryan Hu and in fact also she made mention that posted on icepartnersearch website looking for a new partner.

Joy had some kind of injury- she posted it on her story. Thierry I heard also tried out with Eliana Secunda- not sure if that was before Joy or after.

I've never heard of them, can you please elaborate who they are?

Anna Rumak and Antonin Emo are a new Ice Dance team for France. 🇫🇷 (Source)

Anna previously represented Russia with Gleb Goncharov, while Antonin skated with Maelle Ledermann for Switzerland. Both teams split last season.

I was sad to see Rumak/Goncharov split. I really liked them as a couple. This is going back a while but I love their Free Dance to Lemon Tree. A really happy and cheerful routine.

She could do quite well for herself in France. Lopareva probably wasn’t going to far in Russia but she is now half of the French No.1 dance team, possibly heading towards a European podium and a having a cool RD to Rasputin this season

That reminds me, coincidentally Lopareva used to be coached by Ekaterina Rubleva (who was the coach of Rumak/Goncharov). I think this was before she teamed up with Brissaud. Small world :)

Lopareva rocking the really red hair is shades of Marina Anissina! But, of course, Brissaud does not have the distinctive blond locks of Gwendal Peizarat. 😄 L/B are a good young team. French teams always have a unique, creative vibe. I would like to see a bit more expressive warmth and vulnerability from L/B, especially on Lopareva's end. She's quite intense, but to my eyes in a robotic, perfunctory way.

2021 JGP Ljubljana gold medalist and Russian national junior champion Ilya Yablokov (RUS, men's singles) has announced a career break (source). Given his history of injury, the mentioned lack of motivation, and the general mentality in Russian skating, I believe it is likely a permanent retirement.
Perhaps best known for his love of ice cream which made several appearances in the K&C, Ilya was charismatic on and off the ice. I wish we could have seen more of him.
Thanks for skating, Ilya!

Mia Kuneshita and Alec Roueche look to be a new senior ice dance team based on the BC/YT Section Super Series August updated entries - https://www.skatinginbc.com/sites/d...ytsectionsummerskateskatergroupings072424.pdf

There are four people listed competing under Senior Ice Dance, the others being Malcolm/Chant. Based on that, they are a team. Kuneshita has Meiji Jingu Gaien FSC listed for her club, so they may be competing for Japan, but I don't think there's any confirmation yet.
Mia Kuneshita/Alec Roueche are on the entries list for Japan Eastern Sectionals, so there's confirmation now - https://www.jsfresults.com/National/2024-2025/fs_j/east/10-13_entry.pdf
