Skate Canada pairs event is leaving me feeling quite deflated

OMg... So many mistakes. The program is growing on me. The costumes are fabulous but every jump/throw was not good.

The lifts were incredible.
The death spiral was very impressive (so difficult)
They could still earn a medal but damn it.... that wasn't good

This was a sloppy event. Uzbekistan won’t win as they were too behind from the SP, but they absolutely should win the free skate.

Deanna/Max. Her dress is beautiful. Great program and music. A few mistakes, but still a good skate.

That wasn't what I expected... I suppose if they are going to have a bad skate, it's best to do so when you have a 9 point lead. I think they have used all of those 9 points on the jump errors, though - if not more.

Not quite doing it like they do on the Discovery Channel, but they may have eked out a win here...

Deanna's positions in the group 3 and 5 rev lasso lift were my favorites today. She is so lovely(and Max too of course).

Haven't seen anyone this disappointed to get gold since Sherbs in '22 :/

PCS - which is probably generous - has saved them. I would have had the Australian pair ahead of them on the free, as well as the Usbek pair.

Well components saved them quite a bit, a lot of uncharacteristic mistakes considering the last time I watched SD/D was at Worlds
Still gutted to see L/E in 8th

Was nice Deanna and Maxime FS but some mistakes makes me doubt , I hope they improve more because their FS is wonderful .

A big surprise Uzbekistan 2nd place !!! Very well deserved!! Somebody knows their Instagram for send them a congratulations!!
