Some really good, some not-so-good here from Amber - she only got in two combos, which has been a huge problem for her in the past, but she overcame a rocky start with the 3A. That 3F was just a weird mistake, but she pulled in for the 3Lo and fought for that landing. She also kept on fighting throughout the program - that's how you perform through disappointment, and the other skaters here should watch and learn from her.

Amber. Pretty dress. A really good program. She made a couple of mistakes, but she never gave up.

Amber has a 12-point lead, great PCS, and rarely gets tech calls, she'll be just fine.

and this is why committing throughout the program is so important - don't throw away points on those steps, spins, and choreo sequences! That and her PCS helped her win here.

Botching a 3A is ok, the flip was unfortunate but the loop was possibly one mistake too many. Amber is getting closer and closer but she is not quite there yet. The second half was oldschool herself.

Ouch, still first. They are generous with her.

That program was kinda nothing, we could have turned the music off and had the same experience. Amber deserved better.

Personally, I would give Wakaba the win, even with the score gap coming into the FP. Hopefully no funny business with the PCS by the judges.
