Oh dear... Camden's grabbing his ankle before the program even begins, please don't let him be injured. He's such a gorgeous skater - this program is going to be spectacular when he skates it clean. As it was here, the opening was gorgeous but he really lost steam towards the second half of the program - I do wonder if there was an injury because there were some really uncharacteristic errors that looked like under-training and lack of practice.

before the cactusing really starts, would anyone like chocolate?

me!

Camden, there is such a thing a biting off more than you can chew.
You may have to think hard about what you want out of life and sport.
Agree. Camden's job sounds like more than a 40 hour per work commitment. He looks undertrained here, cactusing aside, and I think he's about reached the limit of what he can accomplish in elite skating. I suspect he fades away from the competitive scene after this season. He is a beautiful skater though, when he's on.

Two men into the event, I've lit a prayer candle, opened a bottle of scotch, and dusted off my finest ceramic cactus in the glass menagerie in my living room.

I very much agree with this. It's obvious he is not ready for this. I saw it all too often with my recently retired son Conrad... and he was better prepared.... though he was at the end of his degree and looking forward to his future career... but this is for me, unacceptable. You commit or you do not. I like Camden very much, but not a half-committed Camden...

That was rough, even for Camden. When there's negative GOE with spins and the choreo sequence, there's an issue. He looked extremely tired three elements in.
