The landing position on Torgs' jumps, and the flow out, is so satisfying! I loved the ice coverage and speed on that choreo sequence, and the cleanliness on the landing of his toe Arabian! There were a few moments where I'd like him commit a bit more, but overall, that was so strong - he just has such quality to his basic skating.

there are many more choices to be made... he doesn't have to skate to Aladin nor Sheherazade.

not sure I like Sheherazade for men.... apparently i am completely gender-normative when it comes to skating music... who knew ?

there're two male chacarcters in the ballet, sultan Shariar and the golden slave, judging by anyone's interpretation they all do the sultan (what a shame, the slave is much more interesting)

Good skate for Andrew T, I'm not really into the program (he can do better with the music, I have expectations) but this must be a confidence booster

Andrew, an almost clean skate!

One of the few skaters who can commit to and pull off dramatic and slow music. Of course I am a tad biased.

But that costume makes it look like his shirt is too short.

Well, this was good from Andrew. He packed in a lot of technical content in the 2nd half of the program and I think he really feels Scheherezade. That's music that I don't get all that much in Men.

i don't think so... the tech panel gave him two quad lutzes, which would then but his 3A as a third repeated jump... but it was a quad flip... i think...

I really enjoyed that from Torgashev. Unfortunately, I could see a few underrotations incoming, so I wouldn't be surprised if this still goes behind ASHF.
