2024 Grand Prix de France Men's Free Skate

I think this is the case where I would love to see 2 federations formally complaining about judging to have a formal investigation.

Considering the GOE I gave all the skaters , per element, didn't differ from the judges except by a hair, formally investigate me as well.

Looks like one of Torgashev's spins were invalidated. :/

I think I was more impressed by Sarah Everhardt's 5th place in women's then all the men here.

It was never going to be a huge surprise that Adam was going to win this. The SP lead was just not that high, and he was only 14 points off from a group that struggles to put together 160+ FS on a good day whereas Adam can do up to 200+ FS when he's at his best. Not a super impressive win for Adam, but a win is a win. At least there's much room for improvement, and it will be easy to be much better for Cup of China. If it weren't for the popped 4T, this would have been a really solid FS, and I'm not so worried about the injury now.

protocols are up.

@lariko Misha had q for both his quad lutz and flip (the flip also had a !)

Memola's best jump is apparently his lutz however he gets an questionable edge each time...

Andrew lots MANY points on his 3 spins... MANY... he is the only one to blame, such a good skater, for letting Koshiro pass him.
And downgraded that 3T that I assume in better times would have been something else. Yeah, they went medieval on him.

I wouldn't say so... he wasn't as on as he has been on the jumps in the past... even the 3a-4t... the reception of the 3a wasn't ideal... no idea how he managed that 4t but he did.
the second half wasn't good... and he is the kind of skater that without jumps, there is not much left so, it is what it is.

He still did better than Shimada, if we are grading on a curve. The podium should have been Adam, Andrew and Shaidorov.

This mess does not belong on any podium.

Podium is a relative measure, and others skated worse with less technical content. He messed up visually a single jumping pass, while basically everyone else had multiple mistakes. So, no, in a competition with other men skating well, sure, he shouldn’t podium. In this competition he should have.

Because this is also a mess, a worse mess.

My goodness, just logged on and wasn't expecting to see these kind of scores...should I watch this event? camden in 11th...

Good for Andrew and hope it's not a fluke. Camden did not score as well as Amber or Sarah (please don't state the obvious). Or Jacob in his two Jr GPs or Josie in one of her's. Loena did not compete because she's not ready. Camden smarten up. To not clear 200?!?!?!

I think I'm alone in liking the music! I also love Koshiro's costume, and really enjoy his skating, although he did look somewhat fatigued today.
i love Koshiro, but i'm not sold on both his costume and his program this season
